Gorge Scrambling
For those looking to jump right into the Highlands with both feet then gorge scrambling (or canyoning) in the Scottish Highlands and just off the NC500 is for you. The Highlands is full of gorges giving us a range of locations that can be suitable for either a exciting family trip or a full-on adult adventure.
Your trip will begin with us kitting you out in full wet-suits and wet socks to help you stay nice and warm plus a buoyancy aid and helmet. We will then head down to the gorge where you will receive a full briefing. After that the adventure begins; head into an amazing (and not often explored) world of slides, jumps and stunning waterfalls all along the NC500 and hidden in the Scottish Highlands.
Where do we start and meet
Our gorge scrambling or canyoning trips take place all over the Scottish Highlands and the NC500. We build our gorge scrambling days round you, so we do not have a set place we run our trips. We like to is find out where you are staying in the Highlands and meet you at a location that is convenient to you. Knowing the Highlands of Scotland and the NC500 really well we are always happy to make a suggestion.
When can you go
Gorge scrambling is definitely a warm weather adventure. As such we only run this activity from mid April to mid October. Our first and last trip of the year varies each year depending on the weather so if you would like to book during April or October please drop us an email and we can help advise.

Who can go
We welcome everyone who wants to jump right into a Highland gorge. You do not need to have gorge scrambled before and in fact many of our groups are complete beginners. We have gorges to match young family groups and we have gorges that suit adrenaline seeking adult groups. As such this activity is ideal for families and adult groups alike.
