Sea Kayak Coach (MW) Training

This is a 2 day discipline specific training course for the Sea Kayak Coach Award. The training is designed for those working towards a Coach Award. The course will focus on how to coach technical and tactical skills and you will learn to plan and deliver safe, enjoyable, progressive coaching sessions.

Throughout your training course you will be supported by our fully qualified and experienced Coach award course tutor. Registration for the award is not a pre-requisite at this stage, however we would recommend that this is done so that the Coach Award eLearning can be access and completed prior to the course. This will ensure you are up to date and familiar with the underpinning coaching knowledge for the award and thus maximise the learning potential from the course.

For the course we will aim to find a variety of moderate water environments to maximise the learning opportunities. We will plan on using the stunning coastline of the Black Isle, launching from the village of Cromarty to enable this; but if conditions dictate we may visit other nearby locations
